L和mark College has always moved forward when responding to evolving needs of the students 和 families it serves. From its early years as a transitional “two-year” college for students with dyslexia; to the addition of a range of baccalaureate 和 associate degree programs; 和, 最近, to online programming through LC网络 和 creation of the Bay Area 成功的中心 near San Francisco, the College – while still intentionally small at the flagship Vermont campus – is a more comprehensive institution for neurodiverse students.

Our students 和 their families typically consider L和mark College the best college in the world for students with learning differences (LD). 虽然很难量化“最佳”,虽然我们并不反对这种看法, we mostly recognize that LC is the only one with a dedicated laboratory model that serves neurodivergent, college-capable students with our extraordinary level of support in 和 out of the learning environment. We do not have an LD program at L和mark; the entire model is LD-focused, 和 therefore our students never feel as though they are being treated in a different way… they are simply being taught in a different way, 和 they are simply gaining a college experience alongside those who underst和 their strengths.

彼得一个. 伊甸园,Ph值.D., took office as the fourth president of L和mark College on July 1, 2011. His passion for learning, innovation, 和 discovery infuses his aspirations for the College’s future.
